Welcome to Vintage Page Designs. My name is Ali Manning and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a book artist and I create hand bound journals that allow you to capture your ideas, memories and stories.
Here’s my story:
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for paper and books.
I began blogging about and teaching paper crafts in 2006. My work has been published in Paper Crafts Magazine, Somerset Studio, Take Ten, Stampers Sampler and Stampin’ Success, and I’ve designed projects for Shimmerz Paint, Crafty Creations, Gingersnap Creations and Rogue Redhead Designs.
In 2011, I opened my store, Vintage Page Designs, a book arts studio that offers customized travel journals, photo albums and sketch books made with reproductions vintage maps. They give my customers the opportunity to capture and preserve their travel memories in a truly unique way. My customers include newly weds, graduates and anyone who loves to travel.
In 2014 I moved my studio to the Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA – a historic converted mill building that’s home to 300 working artists. The same year, I left a non-profit marketing and communications job to work at Vintage Page Designs full time.
When I’m not making books, you’ll find me traveling to visit my family, who are scattered across the globe, going to flea markets or hiking in the woods. I live in a small town in Massachusetts in an old Victorian house, which I share with my husband, daughter and black lab Daisy.
