Accordion Book with Signatures
I mentioned earlier in the year how much I like accordion books. They’re simple but so versatile and appealing. For book number 32 in my 50 Book Project I decided to make an accordion with signatures.
I used a botanical paper (Small Leaf) for the two covers, watercolor paper for the accordion and a sage green handmade paper for the signatures.
I attached the signatures using a simple 5-hole pamphlet stitch and waxed linen thread.
And finished it with a belly band in the same sage paper and a piece of torn muslin.
If you’ve missed the previous 31 books, you can see them on The 50 Book Project page. And if you’d like to be notified when I add new ones, please sign up for my newsletter.
