Art Journal Pages in Progress
I took an art journaling class with Dyan Reaveley a few weeks ago and I learned a huge amount. Taking online classes is fun and convenient, but nothing beats the in person experience. And if you’ve ever watched any of Dyan’s videos, you know she is full of personality and a wonderful teacher.
I’ve been practicing the techniques she taught using her signature ink sprays, Dylusions made by Ranger, so I’m sharing some journal pages in progress.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole class, especially as I shared it with my crafty friends Susan, Kay and Nancy that I took the Wendi Vecchi class with over the summer. Here’s our class photo:
If you’re not familiar with Dyan’s work, check out some her videos – you won’t regret it!
Let me know in the comments if you prefer taking online or in person classes.

Hi Ali. Creating an art journal looks like fun! Like you, I prefer attending classes in person. However, I’ll happily take an online course from if an in person option isn’t possible (am really enjoying the BYW e-course). All the best, Sara

Hello Ali,
I found your blog through BYW class. I love seeing your journal pages. I create altered books and could probably find some of the videos you mentioned useful. Thanks for sharing! Cheery Smiles your way…Laura
