Printable Supply List

Materials for book:

  • 6 sheets of 9″ x 12″ drawing paper. Weight 80lb/130gsm.
  • 2 x cover papers measuring 4.5″ tall x 6″ wide. This can be handmade, scrapbook or decorative paper, or card stock
  • 16″ of garden twine, yarn or embroidery floss
  • Respectfully gathered narrow stick approx. 5″ tall
  • Needle with eye that will accommodate yarn or twine
  • Hole punching tool, such as awl, crop-a-dile or Japanese screw punch
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Craft knife & cutting mat
  • Binder Clip or clothes pin
  • Bone folder or old credit card

Materials for botanical ink painting: 

  • India Ink or other ink of your choice
  • Cup for water
  • Plate or bottle cap for holding ink
  • Bamboo brush or round watercolor brush size 6 – 10 (see alternative links below)
  • Towel or paper towel
  • Respectfully gathered branch or dried bit from the garden or the field
