What members are saying
"In the Handmade Book Club I have learned to create a variety of meaningful books,
... use different types of book closures, and ways to use the materials I have on hand in fun and interesting ways."

"A wonderful space to learn, explore, share creations and feel understood by fellow paper lovers !
I love the videos, the artist interviews, the organizing corners and all the little tips and tricks shared. I love the encouragement on the Facebook group by people all over the world. It’s a great space to feel like I belong!"
Charlotte M.
"I made books for years before a friend introduced me to this book club. I have learned more from Ali in the past 6 months than I learned all those years put together!
Wonderful tools I never knew existed, binding methods I had never tried, clever little tricks and new ways of doing things, and having a supportive group who are interested in making books and sharing their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm for the craft. Ali is one of the best teachers, of any subject, I have ever seen in action and she makes the whole experience fun!"

Meet Ali
Years ago I learned about handmade books, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked. I love creating new designs, learning about different techniques and expanding my collection of paper. But what I love most about bookmaking is the community.
Through Handmade Book Club, I’ve met thousands of other passionate bookmakers, mixed media artists and crafters. We all share a love of book arts just for the joy of it.
I believe that bookbinding and book arts are for everyone, regardless of skill level or equipment. All you need is a little creativity and, of course, paper!
I'd love for you to be a part of our amazing, inspiring community. Come create with us!
