In the spirit of being more ‘me’ on this blog, I want to share some goings-on around here. I’m currently:
Delighting in the herons and beavers I meet on my morning walks by the river.
Watching the third season of Call the Midwife. I watch very little TV, but I’m a sucker for period/historical dramas and this one is perfect.
Eating Moroccan Stew from Moosewood Restaurant Favorites cookbook. I’ve eaten a totally vegetarian diet since February and this cookbook has been really helpful.
Squinting and holding small print at arm’s length. As if wrinkles and night sweats weren’t bad enough, now I need bifocals – this ‘getting old’ business is humiliating.
Organizing the Farmers Market for the third year. This is part of my job in downtown Nashua, NH and comes with many challenges – enough said.
Creating digital scrapbook pages – much to my surprise (see this post).
Reading The Renaissance Soul by Margaret Lobenstine. This book has totally changed my life – I have a blog post brewing in my brain.
