First Journal Challenge
We had so much fun last October with our 5-Day Challenge, that we are hosting another one next month, March 8-12th.
When it comes to creating handmade books, the most common struggle is not knowing where to start. This 5-day challenge will walk you step-by-step through your first project. You will learn about the basic tools and techniques you need to launch you on an exciting handmade book journey.
And if you’re not a beginner, this two needle coptic stitch journal is a great addition to your bookmaking repertoire. The method we learn in class forms rows of neat link stitches and avoids having those awkward rows of stitches on the ends. This is the best looking coptic stitch you’ll ever make!

Do Book Club members need to pay $10? I don’t remember!

Hi Ali, I would like to highly recommend Volcano Arts for book making supplies.

I’ve bought my waxed linen thread in luscious, hard to find colors and long eyelets from Christine for years. She also sells book blocks of novels by Jane Austen and occasionally others that make perfect gifts. She’s been a great friend to hand bound book makers for many years.
