I’m sharing some link love with you today. Here are some things that have tickled my fancy over the past several weeks:
I’m a huge fan of Dina Wakeley’s work and particularly love this journal page because it includes a poem by Tyler Knott Gregson, whose work I also love. As well as the quote, what really attracts me to this page is Dina’s use of white space and complementary colors plus the messy drips!
If you love printing, then Traci Bautista’s book Printmaking Unleashed is a must have for your library. I bought it when it first came out and refer to it often. Check out a blog post she wrote over the summer called 25 Printmaking Ideas for Handmade & Found Tools.
I recently discovered the beautiful work of Dutch artist Marit Barentsen on her website Marit’s Paper World. Here’s a recent spread from her altered book/art journal – I love all the complex layers of paint, images and marks she uses in her work.
Finally, check out this fantastic pumpkin decorated with postage stamps from the latest edition of Sweet Paul Magazine.
