Inspiring Art Journalers on Instagram
I’ve spent a lot of time on Instagram lately and love it!
Instagram is more spontaneous than other forms of social media – it takes just minutes to snap a picture and share it using your phone. Instagram lets us capture everyday moments as they happen. It’s much less work than taking photos with a camera, downloading and editing them, writing a blog post and sharing it. By the time you’ve done all that, the moment has passed.
Perhaps it’s just me but Instagram also feels more intimate than Facebook or Pinterest, where we often share other people’s content as well as our own. It’s also more difficult to share links on Instagram, so the focus is on the picture and the moment, rather than driving traffic or sales.
The long and the short of it, I like Instagram and if you haven’t already, I hope you’ll give it a try. You could even follow me if you like 🙂
I enjoy following artists who show small slices of their lives along with in progress and finished artwork. I thought it might be fun to share some of my favorite art journalers who share regularly on Instagram.
