Instagram Books Arts Inspiration

I find Instagram a rich source of inspiration and ideas, so today I’m sharing some wonderful projects that I discovered there over the past month. Please visit these artists’ feeds and give them some love!

Lauren Bishop from Opaline Book Press created this amazing flag book celebrating her great-great-great-aunt Lura Alta. Lauren has posted several other flag and tunnel books that are really well done, in addition to her signature shell books.

Dori Elizabeth from commissurecreative, is a travel loving photographer and artist, and she posted this lovely coptic stitched journal with a hand-dyed indigo fabric cover.

Tina Jensen, a media artist from Denmark, made these stunning journals with tea dyed waxed covers. Check out the rest of Tina’s work that includes beautiful tags and art journal pages.

Guatyen Koh, of Mettaville, is a book artist from New Zealand who creates wonderful vintage and shibori fabric journals accented with unique buttons and trim.
