Just popping in to share a quick travel journal I made using a London Underground or subway map brought back from one of our trips home to England.
I started with the tri-fold map and pamphlet stitched two signatures into the folds of the map to create back-to-back notebooks. When closed the book measures 6″H x 3″W and when fully open 6″H x 9″W.
Pamphlet stitch is an quick and easy way to create books. Here’s a link to a nice tutorial demonstrating 5-hold pamphlet stitch on one of my favorite blogs, Design Sponge (note: my book uses only 3 holes).
