March Folded Book Challenge

In the Facebook Group, Crafting Handmade Books, we launched a year-long monthly challenge to create some of the structures in Hedi Kyle’s and Ulla Warchol’s book, The Art of the Fold. Each new challenge is posted on the first Monday of the month and I have some fabulous hosts, who will be choosing the month’s book structure and making samples.

This month’s host Carole MacNamee has chosen the Flag Book structure from Chapter 9 as our challenge. Her first book is called Abibliophobia (definition: a fear of running out of books to read):

Her second flag book is called Four Sisters. She photoshopped an old photo of her grandmother and her three sisters and then made three copies of the image to cut into flags for the book.
