Mini Notebooks With Scraps
I had fun using up scraps of paper and thread to make these mini notebooks. The covers are handmade kraft paper sewn with a 3-hole pamphlet stitch, and decorated with a rubber stamped image and paper scraps.
The second kind of mini book is the same cover and construction, but includes a vintage stamp and scrap dictionary paper.
Tip: when you make a larger book and have extra thread left over, save the thread to make miniature books. You need less than 10″ of thread to make these little 2″ x 3″ books.

These are just lovely and the whimsical nature of the stamped covers certainly would appeal to many. I particularly like the cover with dictionary page and stamp though. Thanks for the suggestion for using up short pieces of thread. As someone who has made quilts for many years, I certainly know this way of thinking – there’s always something you can do with the leftovers!
