Anyone can make their own mixed media book or journal, but it can be daunting as a beginner. What materials do you need? Is it necessary to go out and buy a bunch of tools? Where do you even begin?
That’s why Ali created the 5-Day Challenge.
What Is the 5-Day Mixed Media Journal Challenge?
Over the course of five days, Ali teaches you how to create your own book or journal. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and you have plenty of options when it comes to the supplies and tools you can use. The upcoming challenge features a mixed media journal that is easily customized based on your personal preferences.
During each day of the challenge, you receive a new instructional video that shows you how to make part of the book. You are also welcome to take part in the daily Zoom call, where Ali answers questions, shows you how to level up your project, and gives away Etsy gift cards!
Once your book is complete, you can join the community in a fun wrap-up party on November 14th. If you can’t finish your book in time, don’t worry about it—you have lifetime access to the videos and instructions.
The best part? The entire challenge is only $10.
Is the 5-Day Mixed Media Journal Challenge Good for Beginners?
Absolutely! The challenge is designed so anyone, including beginners, can take part. In addition to the challenge videos, instructions, and Zoom calls, challenge takers also get access to a pop-up Facebook group. Members can ask questions and share their progress with the entire 5-Day Challenge community!
The Handmade Book Club team also makes every effort to answer your questions, whether they be live on Zoom or through email or comments on the website. Our priority is to make the experience as easy and fun for you as possible.
You’ll leave the challenge with a journal you can be proud of creating and, hopefully, a newfound love for bookmaking.
