Quick & Easy Book Cloth

Book cloth is paper backed fabric that is wrapped around board to form book covers. It can be purchased from the major bookbinding suppliers but it’s fun to make your own. It’s a great way to use up a stash of fabric and add personality to your projects.

If I’m making a large batch, I adhere the paper backing with wheat paste. You can find a tutorial for that here: How to Make Your Own Book Cloth. However, if I just want to make a couple of sheets, then I reach for fusible webbing.
