Monthly Pages, Meaningful Change
First session: Friday, July 19 at 10am EDT (on Zoom)
If you’re looking for a gentle, meaningful way to deepen your journaling practice and support a good cause, I’d love to invite you to The Giving Page—a new monthly, pay-what-you-can virtual journaling session that blends creative reflection with community and giving back.
Our first live session takes place on Saturday, July 19 at 10am EDT on Zoom, and it’s open to everyone.

What Is The Giving Page?
The Giving Page is a 90-minute guided journaling experience designed to help you slow down, reflect, and reconnect. Each session includes:
- A warm welcome and grounding words
- Poetry and thoughtful journaling prompts
- Quiet writing time
- Optional sharing and community connection
- A follow-up email with the session recording and a PDF of prompts and poems
Whether you’re new to journaling or have kept a notebook for years, this is a gentle, beginner-friendly space to explore your thoughts and creativity.
Write With Purpose
What makes The Giving Page unique is its mission of turning personal reflection into collective impact. Each month, 100% of the proceeds are donated to a nonprofit doing critical work in the world.
For our first session, we’ll be supporting World Central Kitchen, an organization providing nourishing meals to families affected by war, disaster, and displacement. This is a simple, beautiful way to support a global cause while nurturing your own inner world.
Why Journaling in Community Matters
Journaling has been a source of comfort, clarity, and creativity in my life—especially in uncertain times. It’s where I go to make sense of things, honor my emotions, and reconnect with what truly matters. And when we write in community, that experience becomes even more powerful. We’re reminded we’re not alone.

HI! I’M ALI MANNING
Years ago, I learned about handmade books, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked. I love creating new designs, learning about different techniques, and expanding my collection of paper. But what I love most about bookmaking is the community.
Through Vintage Page Designs and the Handmade Book Club, I’ve met thousands of other passionate bookmakers, mixed-media artists, and crafters. We all share a love of book arts and crafting, just for the joy of it.
I believe that bookbinding and book arts are for everyone, regardless of skill level or equipment. All you need is a little creativity and, of course, paper!
Ali suggested a book – Meditations on life?
Can’t find the title or author. Can you help, please?
Hi Marinda – when did i mention this ? During the YouTube live? Was it Mediations for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman?
