I found some good reads this week that I thought you might enjoy over your weekend coffee.
1. I discovered a new photography blog called Paris in Four Months this week – the pictures are breathtaking! And the good news is that Carin’s is now selling prints of her work.

2. Now onto another art form – music. I found this fascinating article on The Sparring Mind about How Music Affects Productivity.
Gregory Ciotti discusses how different kinds of music help us get different tasks done more effectively. For example, if you’re trying to concentrate on a difficult piece of work, playing music with lyrics that you’ve never listened to before will hinder your efforts not help them. He outlines some different music options, explains why they work and gives some links to free music samplers.
3. If you dream about writing a successful blog, then I think you’ll enjoy Neil Patel’s article on Entrepreneur, 8 Must Have Ingredients for a Successful Blog Post. I probably don’t have any of them here, but I’m learning 🙂
4. The iconic American writer Maya Angelou died this week. Here’s one of my favorite of her quotes:
I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
5. We’re busy making summer plans in our house and I loved these 5 Simple Rules for Summer Photography that Jennifer shared over on Simple Scrapper – they’re worth remembering.
