Winter Wedding Idea: Succulents
I’ve noticed more and more brides using plants in addition to cut flowers in their weddings and, in particular, succulents. I love these hardy indoor/outdoor plants – their unique textures, colors and shapes add visual interest, especially to a winter wedding.
Here are some 5 ways to incorporate them into your wedding day:
1. Bridal Bouquet
Switch out traditional blooms for this eye-catching combination of mossy green, dusty blue and grey succulents with cream berries created by A Touch of Succulents. Repot the plants from the bridal bouquet into a permanent container and place around your home to enjoy as you start your married life together.
2. Table Centerpieces
Make a statement with a beautiful centerpieces and or table number holder filled with lovely succulents.
3. Guest Favors
Your guests will love taking home these rustic little gifts that will last long after the party is over.
4. Boutonnière
Dress up the men to0 with a handsome boutonniere made from colorful succulents.
5. Cake Decorations
These flowers make a big impact on a simple cake.
Bonus Idea – Guest Book
And here’s my favorite – a vintage book filled with a beautiful arrangement and used as a guest book – love it!
